We do know that healthy eating and exercises are good for everyone, but do you know it is beneficial for your little one too? Few minutes of  exercise in a day is a must to improve the health of the baby as they help them become strong.  Besides increasing strength they are fun, supply energy and boost confidence. Always remember that encouraging kids to develop healthy habits will help them make a lifetime of better choices.

  • Swimming

It is one of the best cardio workouts as it enhances their muscle and endurance power.

  • Stretching

Stretching exercises for kids keep their joints and muscles flexible and also reduces the risk of injuries like sprains or cramps while increasing the range of motion.

• Sit-ups

By doing sit-ups your baby’s shoulder, core, back and arms muscles are strengthened. To make them do it, place your child on his back and hold his hands and gently pull. Repeat this process. If your child is too small then support him with your hands and then pull towards you. It increases the balance in child’s body.

  • Plank

From strengthening the shoulder girdle, to engaging all core muscles, to working on balance, this exercise gives you the most efficient output.

Kids as young as 5 years can do this and its a great exercise that works on total body coordination, motor planning, and endurance.

• Bicycling

Bicycling is good for your baby’s legs, waist, knees, and stomach. With the help of this, you can increase the flexibility level too. For this exercise, lay down your kid on the back and lift his legs lightly. After that, rotate his leg like a bicycle.

• Tummy time

Most of the time babies lay down only. Put them on the stomach for a short time in a day. It is helpful to develop his muscles of neck, arms, shoulders, back, and stomach. For about 3 to 5 minutes place him on the stomach and lie with him for the company.
