The effects of climate change are well known and everyone is expected to take measures on their level. Recently, a school in Spain took some time out to introduce people to alternative sources of energy.
To make this happen, customized Formula 24 and Formula 24+ electric cars were given to students and a video was recorded which quickly went viral on social media.
Students of Greenpower Lberia modified these vehicles themselves and were successful in introducing battery-powered vehicles to people and even competed to record the highest number of laps in 90 minutes. Take a look at the video here:
This concept has been used previously as well and it is a great way to help children develop skills in mechanics, electrics, and engineering. This also facilitated conversation about sustainable sources of energy which will help reduce pollution in the world.
It is important to realize that even the tiniest efforts can do a lot to change the pace of climate change. Introducing these activities will start conversations and once people see the possibilities and alternative ways to commute then it will become easier for them to move towards an environment-friendly change.
