A South African woman named Gosiame Thamara Sithole gave birth to 10 babies that include seven boys and three girls on June 7. This was a surprise for the medical staff as well because the scans had earlier detected that Gosiame was supposed to give birth to eight babies.
The father of the babies who was emotional at the moment said: “It’s seven boys and three girls. She was seven months and seven days pregnant. I am happy. I am emotional,”.
The couple is also parents to six year old twins. Gosiame, was the talk of the town ever since the news of her rare pregnancy case was revealed, she told that her pregnancy was natural.
Before her delivery, he said: “I am shocked by my pregnancy. It was tough at the beginning. I was sick. It was hard for me. It’s still tough but I am used to it now. I don’t feel the pain anymore, but it’s still a bit tough. I just pray for God to help me deliver all my children in a healthy condition, and for me and my children to come out alive. I would be pleased about it.
Interestingly, She has also managed to break the Guinness World Record which was earlier set by a Malian woman in Morocco after she gave birth to nine babies.
However, the babies have not made a public appearance yet, prompting speculation that the claim made by the parents may be fake. The South African government, meanwhile, has still not been able to verify how many babies the 37-year-old actually delivered.
We wish good health for the mom and the baby.
