Here are some remedies that we can take care at home to keep children healthy and safe.

Tulsi leaves

Tulsi leaves have anti-fungal, anti-bacterial, anti-allergic and anti-inflammatory properties that fight allergies to keep the immune system functioning properly. Give them to kids everyday in the morning before eating and take a look that they chew and eat them as swallowing it can be harmful causing suffocation.

Dress accordingly

Changing weather is when you need to take care of what clothes your kid should wear. If the weather is hot, dress them in light cotton clothes and if at night it gets chilled, dress them in layers as just covering them up wouldn’t work and they can catch cold.

Citrus fruits

Citrus fruits have Vitamin C content that again improves immunity and fights diseases which majorly affects during weather change. Give fruits are rich in Vitamin C, like oranges and  include yoghurt in their diet too.

Ginger and honey

Changing weather brings cough and cold every time so make them have ginger juice and honey combined together as it acts as an elixir that treats cold and flu. Ginger carries anti-bacterial and anti-viral properties that fight against cold and  honey soothes the throat. It is the best remedy to go for if your child is effected by cough and cold.

Turmeric

Turmeric has anti-inflammatory properties that boost immunity and in a weather change the body requires  an immune booster. Add turmeric in their milk at night and make them have more of pulses and curries.
